Our 20-week Saturday NVQ course is ideal for those who want to gain a nationally recognised barbering qualification while keeping their weekdays free. The course provides a complete foundation in modern barbering techniques, with structured weekly sessions and practical training delivered by experienced educators.

  • Hair sectioning and techniques for longer hair

Week 6 – Shaving & NVQ Induction

The day begins with an introduction to shaving techniques and will end with your NVQ induction, preparing you for the assessment phase ahead.

Weeks 7–20 – Live Model Work & Assessments

From week 7 onwards, you’ll work on live models to build confidence, speed, and precision. NVQ assessments will be carried out gradually throughout this stage to support steady progress toward your qualification.
